At San Diego Book Bindery, we offer to bind Bibles into soft or hard cover Leather of your choice. We can combine additional books to a Bible, or brochures added to Reference Bibles. In additon, we can also bind your periodicals, loose magazines, comic books, as well as thesis and dissertation papers into a bound volume. Restoration of your weathered or dilapidated Bibles or other publications is also offered and guaranteed to be of the highest quality. It will be put back together and encased into a new cover of either choice Leather or Buckram.
No project will be started until we have personally met with you, or discussed your project by phone to discuss the specifics of  the transformation of your new publications. 
Some books, however, do need to be resewn. This will be done on a industrial over-sewing machine. Or hand-sewn depending of the book. If this in not needed, the process moves on to hand sewing new endsheets on the book block. After drying and cutting your book to size, a new case will be made of either Leather or Buckram. Then Gold stamping is used to emboss your personalized name and date on the casing. Other Foil stamping colors are available, Silver, Black, White and more. Then your book is put into its new cover. 
Next, your book goes into the nipping book press for about 4 hours to make sure the glue is dry.
After a final inspection we will call you and let you know that your custom bound book and/or Bible is finished. All products are completely hand crafted according to the old traditional ways.
